When you get into backroom,
you can view the list of people
in the chatroom. However, you
cannot receive any message
sent into the chatroom by others
nor can send any message in the
room.
The benefit of the backroom is
that you can private with any
chatter who is in the chatroom.
In addition to this, backroom is a
useful tool used in BULLET
KICKING.
There are several ways you can
go backroom.
To go to backroom, try any one
of the following methods:
1- First method is simple. Just
enter into a chatroom and take
LEAVE ROOM option. Then press
CANCEL immediately.
[NOTE: This method may not
work in recent versions of
mig33.]
2- Second way is cloning nicks.
You will need to run 2 mig33
files on your phone. Login with
a mig33 nick and enter into a
chatroom. And then minimise
the mig33, login with the same
nick by other mig33 file and
enter into the same chatroom.
Now your 1st nick will be in
backroom.
3 - Another way is to use an
older version (versions below
3.00) of mig33. Enter into a
chatroom and go to main menu.
Choose LOGOUT option and
press CANCEL immediately. You
will be in backroom by now.
4 - Third method works only if
your phone supports
minimising. Enter into a
chatroom and minimise the
mig33. And then make a FREE
CALL (333 is recommended for
PK). Do not end the call, for more
than one minute. After ending
the call, maximise the mig33 and
probably the nick might have
got disconnected by now. Then
login with the nick [WITHOUT
EXITING]. You will be in
backroom by now.
